In the last twenty years the interest in Nikola Tesla grew more and more, and at the same time the number of publications increased. But even today Tesla's fame stands diametrically to his outstanding contributions for the advance of mankind. There are other scientist and inventors who are known by most of the people like Einstein and Edison. Nevertheless they produced nothing lasting. Einstein only came up with a "mad" the ory, of which in 20 years everybody will laugh, and Edison "invented" the incandescent lamp, which was of course known before, and he only made it a commercial success by inventing a better filament. Tesla in contrary with his inventions laid the foundation for the rapid development of electrical industry in this century. This is not the place to enumerate Tesla's inventions because this has been done in a lot of other books, although there are some works which are even unknown today and of which no records exist, for example devices for producing invisibility or "time ma-chines" (in reality machines for traveling in higher dimensions). There are rumors that Tesla was responsible for the development of this devices during the Philadelphia Experiment.
